Lev Ratnovski is the IMF Resident Representative for Serbia since 2024. Previously, he covered at the IMF the economic policies of the European Union, United States, Canada, Korea, and multilateral issues; and worked at the ECB in Frankfurt. He has published in the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Review of Financial Studies. Mr. Ratnovski, a Portuguese national, started his career at the Bank of England after receiving Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam.
