Snježana Rudić is the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Finance of the Republika Srpska, leading the Department for the Financial System. Her core expertise lies in the preparation of the legislative framework regulating the banking sector, insurance and capital markets. Since joining the Ministry in 2002, she has participated in numerous systemic development projects in the fields of financial sector, capitalized pension insurance and development finance. She served as a member of the Government Working Group for the Pension System Reform of the Republika Srpska (2007–2010), led the Implementation Team for the Banking Sector Strengthening Project (a World Bank project, 2018–2021), and coordinated numerous inter-ministerial financial sector working groups appointed by the Government of the Republika Srpska.
She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka. She is a recipient of the Ron Brown Professional Development Fellowship (U.S. Department of State, 1998/1999) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Fellowship (2004).
Previously, she was employed at Banjalucka Banka a.d. Banja Luka, working in foreign exchange markets and international payment operations. From 2005 to 2008, she was engaged as a Senior Assistant for the “Banking Management” course at the Faculty of Business Engineering and Management in Banja Luka. She has authored numerous professional papers and articles in the field of finance and has participated in a wide range of domestic and international congresses, conferences, seminars, and workshops.
